It's so nice to see pictures of WARMTH!! We froze ourselves chopping down a Christmas tree today. And thank you for the flora & fauna. I always enjoy seeing animals & plants I wouldn't see here. :)

Sounds like you had a great time. :) Pity about the red card.
I think the plant with the flowers is a type of flax. We had them in our garden here when I was a kid - those honey-eaters adored them.
